Lisa and Skip have known each other for quite a while, since grade school to be exact. They began dating in 2004, when Lisa was 15 and Skip was 16. Fast forward to today and this special love story turned into Lisa and Skip marrying on November 19, 2016. “Skip proposed to me at the movie theater in our hometown where we had our first date. Our family and closest friends were waiting for us as we drove up. My brother-in-law was playing our favorite song on his acoustic guitar as Skip bent down on one knee and asked me to be his wife,” Lisa shared. The wedding day had many memorable moments. “I wore my grandmother’s 50-year-old vintage stole. My favorite pictures that Love Me Do captured are of me wearing this stole. We rented the entire facility at Hotel Du Village’s chateau and utilized their boutique hotel. All of our pictures were taken on their grounds. It made our day feel intimate and romantic for us as well as our guests. Our favorite part of the décor was a memorial table that featured pictures remembering all of our loved ones who have passed away and could not be with us; including Skip’s father. My engagement ring was extra special because Skip purchased it from my aunt who works at a jewelry store in our hometown,” Lisa was happy to share many of the special details with us.

Lisa wore our Serena gown and looked like a princess! She purchased the gown from Lovely Bride. “I had been dress shopping for quite some time but hadn’t found the “wow factor” that I was looking for. As soon as I saw this gown, I instantly knew that it was the dress for me. I loved the unique beading, vintage feel, and how it fit my body,” she shared. Congrats to the happy couple! We love these photos!
