We’re taking you to the beautiful beaches of California to celebrate the marriage of Laura and Jake. These photos will have you thinking sunshine and all the joy and happiness in the world. The wedding took place on October 1st of 2017. It will filled with family and close friends, not to mention Jake’s sister, Ashley Babiarz, was even the wedding planner. It was a special day to celebrate a special romance. Bride Laura was happy to share a bit of their story with us.

On June 24th, 2016, little did I know we were going to end the day engaged. When I got home from work that afternoon, I found a letter (adorably with my name in cursive and a rose drawn on it) that was going to kickstart a very romantic and eventful scavenger hunt-engagement. The first clue instructed me to leave our pup Penny at home and head to the closet to find my next clue. The second clue said to dress to impress and head to my favorite nail salon. Luckily, I had about an hour to quickly shower and change. (thanks for the extra time, babe!) At the nail salon, I was so nervous to ask for clue #3. Once I did, the ladies were so excited for me and handed me a gift certificate with clue #4. What seemed to be the longest gel mani ever, I quickly headed towards Jake’s sister’s house to find clue #5. When I arrived, I was instructed to dance with my now nephews (ages 1 and 3). Success! I was off to find clue #5 at Ashley’s in-laws (“a place where we spend most holidays”). At this location, I found a pinata with a note “Reasons Why I Love You” attached to it. I had to break open the pinata to find out the reasons. Finally, I received my final clue to head to Moonlight Beach. At this point, I have only talked to the nail salon ladies, my sister-in-law-to-be, and her in-laws. I was so nervous driving! I couldn’t even listen to music. When I arrived to Moonlight, I found my handsome boyfriend with our pup waiting for me. Jake said a few sweet words, which I blacked out for, and quickly said “YES!” After we made our phone calls and facetimes, we were off to dinner in Del Mar to celebrate our engagement as fiancés. I thought the night was over… until I learned we were going to a concert at The Belly Up and all of our friends were waiting for us. Best. Engagement. Ever.” Laura shared.

She wore our Marissa gown on the day and looked absolutely beautiful. The gown was purchased at The Dress Theory and Laura said, “It was exactly what I was looking for. It was simple, modern and classy. I felt very comfortable in it.” Well she looked like a princess and we are loving these photos! We hope you enjoy them too.
