We have a New York love story for you today! Arielle and John married on September 30th, 2017 at the Metropolitan Building in Long Island City, A little background for you on the beautiful couple… “Our marriage felt destined, given our happenstance meeting at brunch one Saturday. I had just moved to New York City a few weeks before, and went to brunch with a friend who was visiting from out of town. John, who had been in the city for about a year, just happened to be with his group of friends at that same restaurant, on that same day, at that exact same time,” Real bride Arielle told us. “As chance would have it, my friend who was visiting had gone to school with a few of John’s friends, so she went over to chat with them after we’d finished our food. I followed, and she introduced me to the group, explaining that I had just moved to the city and could use some friends who were local. I was mortified at the time, but John took her up on her offer, suggesting that he would be happy to show me around.” Destined to say the least.

A wedding in the city was the only thing that made sense for these newlyweds. “On our very first outing, we explored downtown, just walking around and talking for hours. As I fell in love with the city, I fell in love with John. New York quickly became home, though not because I had an apartment here, but rather, because John was here. And six years later, we were married in the city that brought us together.”

Arielle looked like an absolute princess on her wedding day. She shined in our Serena gown and we are still gushing over the photos! Arielle purchased the gown from Lovely Bride. She explained that it caught her attention right away because “It made me feel like royalty. The beading was exquisite and timeless.” She sure did look like royalty! Enjoy these stunning photos from the magical day! Congrats to Arielle and John!
